Remove h pipe, driveshaft, and shifter. Remove 3 starter bolts one is a SOB to get to and you need to remove the starter as it is connected to a plate on the bell housing and will impede your progress. There are 2 bolts way up top w/an O-2 sensor bracket attached to them 13 mm I think u need super long extensions to get to them. 8 total then I would jack the front of the motor up a bit (use a wood block) to aid in the angle removing the transmission if you don't you will be there for days cursing at the thing
T-45 clutch Install

Remove h pipe, driveshaft, and shifter. Remove 3 starter bolts one is a SOB to get to it hidden up on top of the starter. You need to remove the starter as it is connected to a plate on the bell housing and will impede your progress if you don’t. There are 2 bolts way up top w/an O-2 sensor bracket attached to them 13 mm I think. You need super long extensions to get to them 8 total I believe. Then I would jack the front of the motor up a bit to aid in the angle removing the transmission if you don't you will be there for days cursing at the thing don’t forget to put a plastic baggy on the end of the tranny as it will be messy if you don't. Remove the 8 mm bolt holding the inspection plate on and remove the little c clip that holds the clutch cable on the bell housing. Then disconnect the cable from the fork you may have to use a pry bar to slide the fork forward. Remove the 4 cross member bolts at the body as well as disconnecting all the O-2 sensor bracket stuff and use a wheel jack with a strap across the tranny. Jack the tranny up slightly and pull the tranny strait back. Since you’re not keeping your pressure plate then I wouldn't worry about how you remove it. But if you were this would be the time to put the alignment tool in the clutch and evenly remove the bolts. I would recommend surfacing your flywheel and replacing all hardware holding your pressure plate on at this time. I would also replace throw out bearing and it's cheap enough your clutch fork and pilot bearing. You have to slide the fork sideways first then after it pops out you can remove it from your bell housing. The Throw out bearing slides out after the fork is removed the pilot bearing is a little tricky and there are a few ways of doing it 1 pack grease in the rear of the bearing as much as possible then get a dowel a diameter a diameter slightly smaller than the bearing and hammer the dowel in the center hole of the bearing. The idea being that the pressure exerted on the grease pushes the bearing out. 2 go to advance auto or auto zone and rent the tool its fairly easy to use and there are a variety of different ones out there 3 LAST RESORT (if all fails and look at my previous post on this one) you’ve tried heating the bearing and every thing get help from a machine shop. Don’t try and drill that sucker out on your own. You will mess up the race on your crank and cause you a headache trying to get a machine shop to come to your garage and replace that race TRUST FROM EXPERIENCE. After flywheel is surfaced make sure your dowels on the flywheel are there. Install your flywheel with the red thread lock on the bolts and then torque to ford spec(can’t remember torque off hand going off memory) Install clutch disk with the alignment tool install pressure plate (evenly screwing in bolts as to not warp plate) torque bolts in star pattern. Install pilot bearing (just press it in). install rest of tranny reverse of install.

I had to reseat my H-pipe I would recommend tightening the H-pipe at the headers/manifold first then tighten the cat back side If you don't reseat it soon it will eventually burn a hole in the gasket and make a heckova racket.
