trans. question

I have '97 cobra. I am wanting to get a blower in the future and my tranny wont hold the power and is going to die soon too. I have looked at a few options and was wondering what would be the best swap for the money and ease of install. I looked at tko 600 but are sort of pricey. I am looking at a couple used t3650's also. What are my best options and what would I need besides the tranny to complete the project?

maybe a slightly used t56 out of an '03? not the best tranny for drags but cheaper and it'll hold the power.

I would do a t56 but they cost too much.

Do you plan on racing it?

If not, then you can rebuild the T45. They have held up to 600 rwhp if you baby them. I think Tom Crews still has a T45 in his 600 rwhp Cobra.

the car will be raced. I am planning on keeping the t45 anyway. So it will probably get rebuilt at some point. Well at this point it looks like I am getting a t3650 off a guy with clutch and flywheel for around 800 or so. Will this trans. bolt right up? What all do I need to make it work.
