I have the auto transmission in my car and on the radiator, there are 2 lines for the transmission cooling I guess. Well it seems that there must be some kind of adapter on it because it is a new radiator(it was like this when I got it) and the top line fitting is stripped to it pisses out fluid. Look at the picture to see what i mean, it's kind of hard to explain. So I was wondering if there is any special type of fitting I should use or if I could just go to Home Depot and get a regular plumbing fixture.
is that a 4 cyl or 5.0? I replaced mine an the stock one an the replacement didn't have any fittings. the line fitting screwed right into the radiator.
I have an entire bag of fittings for the auto transmission that came with my blue silicon hose kit from Ford Racing... I have a 5 speed so i don't need them... PM me, if you think you can use them they're yours

Better fix that fast. We had an Escort come in with a transmission problem and it turned out the cooler in the tank was bad and antifreeze from the radiator wiped out the transmission.
