My transmission has been going into neutral every now and then, and when slowing down most of the time it starts jerking. Like when it is downshifting maybe

Anyways I just scaned my codes and got

654 (O) Transmission selector not in PARK - Transmissions

It was in park when I did the test, and I have already replaced the mlps and the mlps harness

Doesnt the MLPS need to be calibrated in some fashion? Is it possible yours needs an adjustment?

Good luck.

:nice: make sure it's align correctly

It is lined up, but I am trying something else.

Checked the codes again and got a 511. Also got the ohms checked on the transmission. Anyways P was way lower than it was supposed to be. I think it was 3xx, and its supposed to be between 3000-4500 or something like that. So disconnected the computer and it was at 4000. So now I just ordered a new computer.

I know nothing of the circuit that you are testing. But often, resistance tests are to be done with the part disconnected from the power supply.

I'd double check to ensure that the part wasnt ohming out just as it should in a given circumstance.

Good luck.

the test I am doing is to the mlp sensor harness. YOu probe the light blue/yellow wire and the gray/red wire. You should have the following ohms.

Park 3770-4607 ohms what I got 518 ohms
R 1304-1593 416 ohms
N 660-807 324
D 190-232 145
O/D 361-442 231
1 78-95 68

When I disconnect the computer from the harness, the numbers instantlly go to what they are suppose to be. And this does the same crap with the old computer and the new pcm. Whats the freaking deal????
