7 months ago I had a new throw out bearing, pilot bearing, clutch fork, adjustable clutch cable *no firewall adjuster*, installed because my car was making hissing noise when clutch pedal was fully released, hissing noise stopped with slight pressure on the clutch pedal, so after all those parts installed for 7 months I havnt heard the noise period.
Yesterday I heard it and pulled car in garage to listen while car in nuetral, clutch pedal all the way out *noise*, Rest my foot on the pedal it goes away so slight pressure makes it stop??
I have found that to be the key to the problem, I also noticed my pedal has more free play in it than it did after install so first assumption was maybe it needs to be readjusted which my installer told me it might if I had slipping problems but it drives fine and goes through the gears like butter, its just that damn hissing noise thats so imbarressing, I hear it while driving to it does it only when clutch pedal is out and no load is on the pedal,
IS THE CLUTCH CABLE LITTLE LOOSE SO ITS CAUSING THE THROW OUT BEARING TO TOUCH SOMETHING? THAT IS CAUSING THE NOISE OR WHAT IS CAUSING THIS?? PLEASE HELP ME:SNSign:
