I have a 1996 GT 5-speed manual with 87,000 miles and every once in a while usually after the car hasnt moved for about a day it is almost impossible to get the car into reverse. The shifter will not go into the reverse gate. What would the problem be? I was thinking a bent fork? Any other ideas? Does anyone know how much that would cost to fix? Any help would be appreciated.
