ok here is the deal my sis has an 88 2.3 with what we think is a a4ld trany ( was there any other tranys made ). ok first the trany was low on fluid so we filled it and the problem is that when you go from park to overdrive the car just barely wants to move and it will mainly just rev up, but if you skip OD and go to drive it will go fine and if you work it through the gears it will do ok. also if you let it sit in OD and then put it in any other grear it does not want to move you will have to put it back in park and start over and it will do fine. and when you let it go through all the gears in drive then put it in OD it will do ok but when you stop it does not want to take off. any help would be great we think the OD band is bad or we got a clogged trany filter. also a T5 swap is a no go my sis must have a auto thanx
