Transmission Rebuild

Does anyone have any idea on how much it would cost to have a shop rebuild my T45 transmission? Any help would be appreciated.

2nd gear in my T-45 just started to grind a bit, so i'll be in the market for the same thing soon. I'm not sure how much the rebuild is, but if you find a good place to do it, let me know.

Ibroke my trans last night, it is stuck in 1ST gear so if you guys come up with something let me know too, if I come across something I will do the same

it's alot easier (at least were i live) to find a low mileage used one foe about 300-400 and swap it in.

I've got the 2nd and 3rd gear grind on my '96 as well.. I took the car to Cottman Trans. in my area. They wanted $300 just to take it off and look at it... I am going to try and find a used one with low milage on it. A good friend of mine owns a junk yard. Maybe he can hook me up..

I don't know either but was told that 1999 and up t-45 trans got like some 45 upgrades ?
