Allright. For the longest time my car had been giving me problems with the overdrive. And it still is.
I have, though figured out with relative certainty what's the problem.
You see, I took it into a shop last week, and they ended up telling me that it's not the transmission it'self, but the fact that it's getting no ground signal or something like that. They said that it's either the wiring or the computer that's the problem.
Since I just swapped out the computer with one that mg man gave me, and the fact that everyone says the computers are bulletproof, that makes me rather sure that it's not the computer that's the problem, but the wiring.
That leaves me with a sure problem, but still little clue as to what to do.
Can anybody help me? What would I need to do to fix a "ground signal" or whatever the hell the dude was talking about, knowing that it's the wiring that is the problem. Is it an easy afternoon's fix? What does it entail?
