I am in the process of gettting my 66 coupe to approximately 320-350 hp, i need to know what transmission i should use it has a c4 right now...will that be fine? should i put a shift kit in it or should i go with a different transmission?

While a stick shift will prolly be more fun to drive, I think the C4 can handle 350 HP. If keeping it automatic fits more in the lines of your budget, you can get take your C4 to a shop and beef it up. And with the right shift kit, you'll be able to drive like a stick shift.

You have a B&M shift kit for a green dot C4 tranny already installed.

I've run that kind of power through a C4 before, no problem, street/strip. A good torque converter, shift kit, and a shifter will make it downright fun. I put in a manual valve body as well -- if I recall correctly (about 15 years ago so who knows) it was a direct swap from a '67 C4.
