the transmission is leaking between the main housing and the extension housing. can i just rtv between the housing?
i already have the trannyout and the housings seperated
You probably need to use anerobic sealer. It comes in a tube similar to loctite, but it is usually red and 'gel like'. It never hardens like silicone sealers an will stay between the machined surfaces.
