Very easy. Takes about 45 minutes, tops. If the trans. cover plate is hard to pry off, due to sealant, crawl under the car and tap it from below. It will come right off. make sure you use a good sealer when you install the cover, and clean off any old sealant. Top it off with a spiffy new shifter knob, for a finished look!

did mine in 20 min. its very very cake. unscrew the knob, pry off the bezel and boot, undo 4 bolts (forward two are kinda tricky because of the angle and dash overhang (small extension and socket angle works flawlessly) but then i used a flexy putty knife to pry up the corner to "break the seal" then it popped off with a little tug. place the lil cap on the ball, use gasket sealer (2 bucks at napa) on the tri axe after cleaning it. use the putty knife to take off any remaining sealant on the tranny then clean with alcahol. dry, and now the gasket sealer should be tacky now. place the lil white cup in the lil hole, press firmly, bolt down, replace shift bezel and boot.

i have it with a hurst T bar and i tear through gears like a 4 foot chainsaw through and angry mob.

my first and best mod yet. possibly prevented all the issues tht people have with the tremec tranny.
