UPDATE: so I got it running and was driving for a few weeks. Then the oil pump took a dump and I fried a few of the bearings. I need this car up and running as she's my daily driver, so I bought a 20k mile old stock Windsor shortblock. This will serve as a pacemaker for the GT while I recover my bank account over the summer and build a 5.1 stroker for the beast

Man, that sucks that the pump went out, but it doesn't sound like you're too upset...

So how was the difference in performance with the heads?

life hands you lemons, grab the Vodka and make some lemonade, right

I was keeping her under 4k due to not being tuned, but there was a difference that could be felt that made keeping it under that RPM so damn annoying

when I originally rebuilt the engine, I did it in my garage with jackstands and a cherry picker. I work at a Ford dealer now, so I use my lift at work for pulling the engine

UPDATE: YouTube - 2000 Mustang GT idle

just chasing some oil leaks. I cleared the KAM, so in the video she was re-learning her idle
