Why does the Track Heat kit say: This kit will not work on 1994-95 Ford Mustangs. It's only $50 more and it has the better intake right?

That's what I thought, but the other kit, with the base intake doesn't come with the elbow either.

You need a 3/8" spacer on the intake or else the elbow will not fit.

The spacer and elbow are under 200.00 combined...don't remember because I did not order the spacer and ended up getting it for free.........I am very happy with the set up but you will need some tuning of 'course....lol good luck

Interesting... I have the 96 Cobra hood, I wonder what kinds of havoc that might cause. :x

Also, do you have to get longer intake bolts?

I emailed trick flow about the same thing....they told me all i needed was an intake spacer, elbow adapter for the t/b and a longer hose for one of the vaccum lines. Here are the part numbers trick flow gave me.......
1) TFS # 5150SN95-00 elbow adapter for the throttle body.
2) TFS # 51520007, upper/lower manifold spacer.
3) You will need to modify the EGR tube to fit.
4) You will need to get a custom computer tune as the 1994-95 computers
are
very finicky.

I've had a whale of a good time with my aftermarket Strut Tower Brace. Fit around the Cobra Intake just fine, but had to have a welder modify it so the hood would close. Just changed my dizzy and it's a 1/4" taller. My coil wire would arc from the center post to the brace, so I had to remove it. Takes some getting used to, to drive the car without that brace.... but it's "okay" I guess.

I figure the hood will have to replaced sooner or later... I like the looks of it, but it's just not very tall where it needs to be. Dang 4.6 motors.

Mine runs fine without it.
