Hello guys,

Well the new Trick Flow Plenum is in and I am really pleased.

I don't have any dyno numbers to prove it (no money right now)
but i can tell you that this made the most difference in the way my car responds than any other bolt-ons I have used.

Both from a stop and from a roll, I can feel the difference in the way the car pulls, now...keep in mind that I have a non-pi head 96 GT, so any little difference in horsepower can be felt and really appreciated.

I had the Plenum polished from both inside and out, so it looks beautiful under the hood. I will post some pics tomorrow.

I only ran into one small problem. Once I installed the new plenum with my C&L flow pipe, the stock strut tower brace would not clear, by a good amount. The Trick Flow Plenum is about 1 inch taller that that of the stock plenum and the C&L pipe doesn't help either. So I left my stock brace off, but I want to replace it with an aftermarket one.

Does anyone know what will work? I need some info as to where to go for a brace at a good price.

Getting back to the Plenum, in my opinion, it is worth every penny. Besides, how many of us have spent the same amount of money on other bolt-ons (CAI) and gain no horsepower or even loose some horsepower.

Two thumbs up on both quality and performance for the Trick Flow Intake Plenum. :nice: :nice:

Good to hear you like it. As mentioned above where did you get it, and for how much? Seems like I saw it listed for $189 or something liek that somewhere, but I can't remember where.

Actualy, I paid $139.00 from Summit racing for the bare aluminum version and paid $25 at a local shop to have it polished, looks beautiful.

You can buy the gray painted or black painted versions also from Summit for around $10 more.

I have never dynoed my car, I just keep adding bolt ons.

The only thing I can tell you is that I have ran a 9.4 in the 1/8 mile (Irwindale Speedway)

and ran a best of 14.8 in the 1/4 (Fontana Speedway- weather and track were horrible, 100+ degrees)

I guess when I go back to the track I will see what kind of improvements I get.
