With the Trickflow street heat intake can you reuse the stock bolts or our new ones needed? Has anyone used the professional products sn95 intake adapter? Will it work with this intake?

I've heard that the elbows are pretty much interchangable. I'm ordering the same TFS intake to go with my ported E'7's in a couple days. I saw the pro-products one on ebay and thought about ordering it to save a couple bucks. But IMO, it's not worth it.

1) The TFS elbow without a doubt will fit great, as they are matching parts.
2) They can be ordered in the exact same color. Looks way better under the hood.
3) You only save like 40 bucks.

Not worth it.

As far as bolts, I can't remember. I helped my buddy install his Track heat, but it was a long time ago.

The TFS intake bolts that you need are the two that go through the top of the intake where the plate used to be on the old one, and the 4 that mate the upper to the lower.

What size is the professional products adapter? The TFS intake is machined for 75mm. If the PP adapter is not 75 mm, then you are restricting yourself and its not worth it.

Note: The TFS unit is designed for a FOX. The adapter elbow does not come with the additional bolts needed to mount it and the T/B. You will need 4 bolts from a store, I think they are 7/16, but don't quote me on that.

Depending on the type of intake you have the elbows may or may not work. I have a Performer intake and I bought a used SVO adaptor to go with it. I had to grind the discharge tube on my Vortech to get it to work and it still didnt line up right. I finally just broke down and bought an Edelbrock one.

I would think on just your standard CAI it would be ok though because they are generally pretty adjustable.

Just some thoughts...
