TrickFlow Intake Question

Hey I was looking at my new lower which I bought off ebay and i noticed this I was wondering if thats normal or if it was a home done job its a new intake never used and you can tell by looking at it just this has me puzzled thought it might me notched for the Distributor but not sure.

its the front side of the intake... who here says its for the line that connects both fuel rails together?

I do.

are you still looking for an upper, cause i seen one on panhandle performances website for 100 bux it was the street heat



ttt for you , and that is for the fuel lines b/c i ask the same question

No i got an upper with it whole set up for 365 ended up being 410 with shipping but i got really ticked off when i seen that and i emailed the guy asking him what he did to it but if your saying thats a thing trickflow does then i will have to email him and tell him sorry

the good news is that its supposed to be notched like that. that would be for the fuel lines/rails.

GREAT thanks guys i can calm myself now sucks that i busted one of my bolts and advance and pep boys both told me i had to go to a dealer which means the plan of the car running this weekend is shot

This is whats its for. There is also a alum foil pieces that goes over the front fuel rail to help keep it cool.

i remember seeing the grooves for the first time and being like "who the hell is this funny piece of **** in the factory to do that to my stuff?!" then i popped it on and realized what it was for. i never told a soul...until now

lol well like i said it was bought off ebay and you can't be too sure on what people tell ya I've been lucky so far and haven't been screwed over I thought this was my first but after you guys telling me it ws suppose to be liek that and looking at TFS's website and looking close at the pics you can see it. So being the nice guy that i am (ha ha) i emailed the guy back and told him i was sorry for thinking he messed with it and he ws cool about it so eveythings all good
