Im thinkin about getting a trickflow kit in the near future
I know I need throttlebody adapter and intake spacer
which size intake spacer would you think is ideal? 3/8 inch or 1 inch?
I have a Cobra RR cowl hood so hood clearance wont be a problem.
Will the intake spacer cause any fitment problems with the air intake?

I know 351's are different, but I'm using a 3/8" spacer and it just barely clears the tall valve covers, but it clears.

I fit a 3/8" spacer under the stock hood without too much problem. I had to remove the under hood padding, and there was one spot that I had to trim a little so it wouldn't rub on the intake.

I guess I am not too sure on how much extra clearance the Cobra RR hood has over the stock one. If it provides an extra inch of clearance, I would think that you could run either the 3/8" or the 1" spacer without any issues.

I don't think it's JUST the spacer you have to worry about. The intake itself is pretty darn tall.

Guess I'll see when I try to lower this bad boy in there.

i had a one inch under my stock hood. had to remove the padding and cut some bracing out but it fit under the hood. with an "rr" hood you wont have any problems. my one inch didnt make a big diff. with the cai. i just turned the boots a bit and had to pull some slack out of the piping. it fit just fine though..
