Well, just checked the order status of my intake from Summit, it shipped today. I've got a Procharger, so if they haven't changed anything, it probably wont fit, so it might be for sale soon. If it does fit, I'll be posting some numbers next week....

Ordered it when it first came out in Summit's online catalog, before I heard that there might be issues with Prochargers. I even cancelled my order twice last month and Summit shipped it anyway. I don't think I'll have a problem selling anyway...

I called Trickflow today and they checked the orders that will be filled next. My name is at the top of the list for the Natural finish and I will be getting mine from the next batch that is produced in two weeks or so So I should have numbers before and after in the next month or so! :SNSign:

Can you use twin throttle bodies on GT's?

Sure. Why not? If you have an intake that uses a twin and the right MAF-to-TB tube.

I see Trickflow's website stating many different throttle bodies from 75mm to twin 57mm. I like the idea of twin throttle bodies like the SN197's. Does this warrant any custom tuning?

The Trickflow intake should not require a retune if you use the 75mm TB one. The twin 57mm will likely cause the TP points to be incorrect because it does flow more air, but that is a minor thing to be corrected in a tune...

I don't think it should warrant any tune either, but you would be able to pick up a little more power with a tune after this kind of swap im sure. On their website, they list the dual TB version on the site with the single TB version, but I have seen no indication of when the dual version will be out. Summit only has the single TB version listed on their site as available for order. I bet the dual version is out in the late summer/fall.

Not to sound like a n00b, but what are the benefits of having twin 57mm blades as opposed to a single 75mm blade?

More CSA. It will take a bigger size throttle body than a 75mm to equal the 2 57mm.

Yup. CSA of the twin is 15% more.

I'll wait to see some real world dyno results before I plop down 8 bills for this.

At least it's a "sign" that someone is trying to put out other parts for the 'ole 4.6 2V.
