Trigger wire for inline fuel pump?

Hey guys, where is the trigger wire for the intank fuel pump? Im using the directions off the vortech T rex install manual, and it says to use the red/purple(tap into it). I cant find any red/purple wire, where is it at??

did you check the wires that run under the drivers seat? i heard that the fuel pump wires run under there, i may be wrong tho

No i didnt, i checked all the wires at the computer, and all the wires that run into the fuse box. Im pretty sure its not in those spots. I just need someone to tell me it is, so i can look a lil harder.

I believe if im not mistaken that the triger wire your looking for is under the drivers seat in the floor pan.There should be a relay in there.

get a test light and try the wires u think it is

I dont think we have relays under our seats in our years..

Yea i have no clue what wire it is, im gonna hafta read through the haynes manual tomorrow, that should help!

Check inside the truck on the passengers side of the car near the back. The wires for the factory pump run through the trunk floor there and I've always tapped of the keyed power right from there for inline pumps. Sorry, I'm not sure excactly which wire it is off the top of my head.
