SASKATOON
I thought that I would post a few pics of my old ride, the 4 door mustang... now before you all turn a deaf ear cause it's not a stang.. it ran 13.2 @ 116 in the 1/4 with those tires on it. All motor too. I'm starting to miss it recently, but I'm happier to have a better looking car. :D

On to the pics...

some of these aren't the best pics cause I didnt' have my digicam yet...

If anyone cares the mods were (as best I can remember)

Motor
351W bored and stroked to 412
1972 cougar heads with mild :nice: porting and polishing and slightly larger valves :D
custom crank
edelbrock 4bbl carb and manifold
nasty 4x4 camshaft (comp cams)
hardened rods
1.7 cobra roller rockers
302 mustang hedman hedders
full 2.5" exhaust front to rear
(and alot I can't remember)

Tranny
AOD with stage 3 B&M shift kit
A+ servo gear
1000 rpm over stock torque converter

3:73 open rear end (posi on the last few 13 second runs)

full stock trim
15x8 uswheel rims and 265/50R15 rubber
5.8L emblems and some cobra ones...
all blacked out trim

This thing was FAST!!!:hail2: Now I have to make the stang fast...:jaw:

Thats pretty quick for one of those land boats...:D

116 mph trap speed is a hell of alot better than a 13.2... that thing would turn some NICE numbers if traction was there I bet.

especially quick considering I couldn't get traction in any gear at full throttle.... I wish I had some slicks to see what it really had in it...

I know that a 'stang with the same set up here dynoed at 550/620 on an engine dyno... man I wish I had some slicks....

No joke... 116 is a fast trap speed, specially for something its size.

yee-haw!!! I just figured the good ol' duke boys had it right so I drag on dirt roads now!!! Way more fun, trust me :)

* enter sarcasm, (obviously the dirt road was used for effect in the pictures to add some nice scenery and have the car stand out more... )
