I tried putting it in without the orginal pillar in, and it was too loose, so I put it back in, and I can't get the speaker grille back in, i have to get the pod inbetween the dash and a-pillar, and try to squeeze the grille between the gauge cluster, and the bottom gauge...
I put mine in without the original pillar, nice tight fit. the speaker grill was a PITA!!! its a matter of just fooling with it and getting it to go in on the right angle. If you get that stuck and cant figure it out, you could take off the instrument cluster bezel and put it on easier. but it should go in without doing that! Good Luck!
Well I'm either, goingto break the grille or dent my gauge, lol, it's just not going in at all....i'm waiting on my water gauge, when I put that in i'll worry about it
