Does the 94 have a different smog pump? I would think they would be easy to find on eBay, unless you need a reliable one for daily driving.

I bought a used one and it was beat. The pump rotated poorly and the stud was stuck in it. I finally put it under the bench and borrowed one off my other car for emissions.

The one for a 94 is different than a fox pump (fox pumps are pretty cheap rebuilt - 40-60 bucks). The SN pump is hard to find period, and goes for over 100 bucks for a rebuilt unit (I hate to spend that on a POS smog pump). Strict emissions here though.

The problem is that they start to crap up inside from non-use (with that eccentric plane the vanes travel along). I think the vanes are hitting the wall on one side in the pump I have now. I opened one once and cleaning and greasing it did not help.

If anyone knows of cheap used/rebuilt 94-95 pumps, please let me know.

JT ... I'm getting ready to take mine off. I don't need it. I don't (and will never) have to worry about emissions. If you want it, you can have it for whatever the shipping costs.
