I posted an earlier thread about "normal" gauge readings but I think I may have a different problem. Yesterday...I turn the key and driving....and then the gauges (all of them) go squirrelly. Then they settle back down. It's happened a few times since but nothing I can pinpoint. I think it's a bad ground....any suggestions ?

Could be a bad ground OR could be the voltage regulator found on the back of the dash gauge assembly. If it malfunctions, it can affect the gas/oil/temp gauges all at once.
