Engine Truck Shortblock (e7te-ca) With Gt40p's And 95 (t4mo) Computer

It might be a roller block, but it wouldn't have come stock with 2 vital things for your car:
1: 88 didn't have a roller cam.
I have a 90 F150, and it had a roller block from the factory, but NOT a roller cam.
If this engine was rebuilt with roller parts, then it might be fine. See #2....

2: The firing order on the trucks was 289/302, NOT 351/302 HO. So you would have to change the cam if it was not HO firing order.

Oh.... crap.
I forgot about BALANCE!
Check to make sure, but I believe the trucks (non-HO engines) retained the 28 oz balance, and did not move to the 50 oz balance of the HO.

If this is the case, you will need to use a 28 oz balancer and flywheel/flexplate!
