that size in audio cable would probably be that much.. welding cable should only be ~1-2/ft. i havent priced it lately but everyone says its pretty cheap
i dont understand why he would need to buy any extra wire, since the kits already come with the wire. Atleast my Taylor kit did, and the supplied wire works great. No problems what so ever.
