Trunk

When i close the trunk, it still has some movement like if i pull it up, but its locked. I also cant put my key into the trunk hole to open it, it wont go all the way in.

Spray some WD-40 into the latch mechanism, to loosen up the latch....sounds like its partially turned

what about the trunk not being snug tight closed?

loosten up the bracket inside the trunk and slide it all the way down and tighten it back up... my trunk rattled like a bastard till i tightened it down ... if it doesnt close your goin to have to move it up a tad..

i know the problem, that latch has 3 bolts, the bottom one theres no bolt attached, its stripped in there, i tried drilling it out but its metal and its hard to. only 2 bolts holding latch down

+1 for wd40 , that sheot works good to loosen up locks..
