trying to determen whether this is a 24# injector, please read

Determine DUH
Anyway, I rebuilt my motor and had a bad 24# injector (bought used), so I go to the local Advance auto and asked for an injector for a 1993 cobra , which ofcourse came w/24#'ers. Well nowhere on the box or elsewhere does it say it is a 24# injector furthermore I ohmed it out and got 16.2, same as my 19# injectors, the other 24's ohm out at 14.2, so did I buy another 19# injector?

what color r they? blue is 24s, orangey tan is stock 19s, dont no what to tell u about the ohms tho

There are numerous sites on the Net that tell what each injector is for and other data about injectors. Just do a Google search. Look on the side of your injector and there should be numbers. Type those numbers along with the word INJECTOR into Google and you should know what you have in seconds. Type ALL of the numbers including any leading zeros exactly as they are on the injector. For example my injectors are...

0 280 155 931 and 12561462. A simple Google search reveals that they are Bosch 28# injectors for Corvette LS1 and LS6.

The above pic is not all inclusive of applications. For example my '95 F-150 with a 5.0 has the Mustang injectors. I know for a fact that they are the injectors that came with the truck from the factory.

....that graphic was not meant to be all-inclusive, just give some people examples about what they can find and what they look like. The round-corner injectors "look" like they will work if you don't see that subtle difference, which you might not notice until after you bought them.

ANy numbders on it? WHat brand? Bosch? Denso?

All high-impedance injectors should measure around 14.2 ohms.
