I'm wondering if I could lower just the front of my 2000 GT to give it a little more of a ass kicking stance if anyone esle has done this, some pictures would be sweet.

Thats what H&R SuperSports are for. They lower the car and give it a nice raked stance like you're talking about.

the stance ur thinking of origniated from the muscle car days are from having a huge engine uner the hood, maybe a 351 windsor may help your stance Nah H&R's will help, tis what i'd have but i can't lower the front, my exhaust is too low

I have pics but they aren't really from the side straight on. The "stance" is more of a "rake". The SS lower your car but leave your rear end about 1/4" to 3/8" higher than the front. They look good as a modern muscle car stance but not like a '60s/'70s stance...

:SNSign: I'll pic whore any chance I get...

From what I understand, the weight transfer isn't optimum. But H&R does make "Race" springs and there is a drop. Look at Maximum Motorsports. They'll explain it.

I was going to say get a larger motor. Some springs can change it though giving it a raked look. Maybe take out the spring isolators from the front?

Stock springs front and back

This is my 96 when I had Steeda Sports on the front and stock on the rear. May give you an idea of how it would look.

pulling the spring isolators will give you a 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Probably the cheapest way to get a little bit of the raked look

This is with Eibach Pro springs (a whole bunch of other suspension stuff, but nothing else that would change the stance)...

IMO Maximum Motorsports coilovers are the only way to go. Adjustability, ride quality, and handling are just a few of the perks. On the cheap I would reccomend Eibach Pro-Kit springs, or H&R Race springs - either one will drop your car 1" to 1-1/2", and not screw with your roll neight too much (in a negative way) or increase bumpsteer substantially.

Not exactly amazing, but they didn't prevent me from running 13.70's. The 2.1 60' was mainly due to the tires i think. I'l let you know after next weekend when i taker her out on the new BFG's

I think that's a decent rake. FRPP C springs. But the rear sits damn high
