Trying to get a more aggressive stance

Nice! :nice: I notice you took off that "ding guard" too.

Thanks. For some reason up here I would say about 90% of the Stangs come with those things. I didn't think anything of it till I posted pics on here. The opinions started comming in on them and they were't good :).

I took them off and realized how much better it looked. Another point for :SNSign:.

This is with Eibach Pro springs (a whole bunch of other suspension stuff, but nothing else that would change the stance)...

pro kit for life^^

A drop any bigger than that will cause you major problems. It'll ride like **** and your CC will be WAY off....

you can always cut your springs...take about 1/2 a coil off your front springs...it'll drop the front some...

Remember on the fronts you have to cut the bottom of the coil...NOT THE TOP...anything less than a coil will not screw up your spring rate or cause the ride to be bouncy...

I'm fairly new to the mustang scene, what does "rake" mean? I've never heard it used before.

Back in the day... (70's) ...our Muscle Cars were really lifted in the rear end. The more the lift of the rear bumper compared to the drop of the front bumper was your "rake". Any difference from your front bumper to your rear bumper with rear being higher is a "rake". If your front is higher than your rear, it's not a "rake", it's a "sageing rear end".

"Rake" also applies to chopper style motorcycles... the farther you bring out your front wheel the more the "rake". I had a 3" "rake" on an old '81 Kawasaki CSR 650cc.

:nice:

No negatives that I can think of. Its a firm ride, but it won't scramble your brains.

I've got the C Springs too.

They have a nice rake, good handling and ride quality.
I got a little more drop on the front end than I expected -- more than C Springs are supposed to give -- so I will have to get CC plates. It just goes to show that every car is a little different.
