Trying to get rarity of this 1970 Mach 1

Helping a friend of a friend get this car running:

1970 Mach 1, 428 SCJ Drag pack w/4:30 gears, Automatic

Gold exterior, Ginger deluxe interior, wheel covers, Convenience group, louvers, spoilers F & R, shaker, side and taillight moldings, rim blow wheel

Build sheet does not show a radio, was AM standard?

Has had a factory A/C system added to the car at a later date, I know it's not supposed to have it.

Car is in a High #2 condition, and will be for sale shortly.

How rare is this combo, not including the A/C?

Hi Dan!

The radio was a $61.00 option. Does the VIN indicate R or Q code for the engine?

Heya!

Feels good to be posting a real question here!

It's an "R" code car, I just can't remember if it's a Metuchen or Dearborn car. He has the build sheet, and there is no "X" in the radio box.

He would do well to get the Marti Report on it then.

Working on a trip back up to North Central Mass sometime this Fall or early winter. Maybe a good chance we can meet?

I agree with getting a marti report. I got the 40$ one for my 68 because I thought it would be cool to have. For something like though I would get the deluxe. It's much more detailed.
