Im trying to install a radio in my 1964 after a year of hearing the motor roar on the freeways and streets!

So now im trying to install a pioneer stereo and some 6x9 in the rear. I have kinda an idea on how to install it but i would like to do it once and do it right..

Where can I get constant power from? the solenoid or directly from the battery? Can I get it from the hot wire on my ignition? Can I get power from the old radio cable? If so which one is it? Diagram?

Thanks in advance

The constant is just that, make sure its live with 12v all the time. This keeps the station and settings when the car is off. (Straight to battery preferably)

Theres a second power wire...That goes to the ignition (only has 12v when key is clicked forward)

Hope that helps.
