tube from exhaust manifold?

what is the tube coming from the passenger side exhaust manifold and connecting to the carb? i've already got headers put in, so do i just plug that connection at the carb or what? its a 66 c code v8 by the way. thanks

that is the hot air tube for your choke. you can plug that part of the carb and be ok

You will probably need a hand choke or electric choke as your hot air to open your stock choke will be lost.

i have a manual choke. at least, i have the knob for it under the dash. i'll have to make sure its connected, but i'm pretty sure it is. thanks for the help
