i posted a forum a while back questioning what to get for suspesion mods. i think ive finally decided to got with a Granatelli motorsports or aje racing tubalar k member and a arms and coil overs. i know it will be alot of money and they dont come with struts, so i dont know what stuts will be good??? i also was wondering what i should do with the rear. i was planing on just a coilover kit for the rear too. how well do you think all this will be and what you think.

Big no no on granatelli as every one will tell you they are not good.

IMO avoid Grantelli. A lot of horror stories.

If you want cheap, go UPR. I have the full tubular kit on my car and they have updated the kit from what people were complaining about before. I've had it on for 3 months now. Lots of potholes around here. It's snowing all the time etc...

K-Member looks just like it did when I installed it. Rides great. And no major noise.

Also I went with the Tokico struts and shocks.

+1 on the UPR deal works great, now as far as struts if your gonna drag it get a set from Strange, if not get whatever those twisty/turny guys use!

i have UPR and the northwest roads get so messed up in the winter.. my UPR hasnt skipped a beat , ive had it for about 2 years.. it however squeaks over big bumps..

Love the UPR stuff. Me and a few buddys installed that setup on my friends 03 Cobra with great success.

Ganitelli suxor, go with MM they rule The UPR looks great but IDK anyone with it so IDK if it is any good. The MM cost an arm and a leg, Steeda make a great one (had it on my 03 Cobra) and its petty cheep, only $260 and I got MM LCA for $300. It was a great improvment and took like 60 lbs off the nose.

If you don't want to spend a whole lot of money you can buy the K-frame only, and keep your stock control arms and struts. My tuner shop does that all the time to lighten up Mustangs. He just doesn't like the tubular control arms and coilovers. His Mach 1 runs 9's with that set-up and still rides like stock.

Thats actually a real good idea, wonder why I never thought of that I think thats what I will do since the Steeda is so cheap and I dont want coilovers eaither. Coilovers are nice and all, I just dont want the car to ride like a race car and every coilover i have been in handle killer but hurt my teeth

Do you absolutely have to have to go with the coil-overs when you go with the tubular lowers, or have they the ability to add spring perches that you can you stick with the McPherson Strut set up?

the QA1 comes with spring perches, UPR does not... honestly I like my tubular arms a lot better than I liked having my stock A-Arms on.
