dude , forget who did the tune and when and how. it actually does matter who did the tune. I got mine from JMS and the damn thing pings like a mother. I have to run 93 octane on my 91 tune and it still pings sometimes at higher rpms. Since you dont seem to care for anyone's advice and cant take a joke, call your tuner and ask them. they programmed it, they should be able to help.

Like others have said, it sounds like your tune. I had the same problem and had to go back to my tuner. Evrything is ok now. I can't answer your question about the x-pipe. I would think it would lean it out more. Your tuner may have to back out your timing some. Pearl02.

where do you live? in cold weather states, the gas is altered for winter. that could cause the problem. also, are you getting gas from the same place? have you done any other mods since you last ran the tune? gears for instance could potentially lower engine load and cause the computer to run a different timing table than the last time. what about spark plugs? maybe they aren't burning as hot as before. it could be a number of reasons.
