Grady thanks for the info. I was leaning towards the 80 Pro-m for the simple reason of getting the car to the dyno under its own power.

With those 30's and caled maf .............

It might wanna load up a bit at idle and at cruise until the tune

Just no way to tell as these combos can produce very different
drivability issues even though some are similar.

If it loads up a bit ... just push in the clutch and clean it out

Good Luck!

Grady

As far as stock mafs...you may find a stock 4.6 based maf that fits the bill too. once I get the bugs/kinks/details/headaches/time on mine I think its a very affordable deal.

I have thought about putting together a maf/inj./chip combo for sale since by using a factory 4.6 mustang maf can be cheap....= nice profit margin for side work.

Hi Ken! Actually, it was $269 - I don't want to get in trouble with SCT's MAP policy - they have a minimum advertised price policy and 269 is the lowest price we are allowed to sell at or we lose our dealership... Hope you don't mind that I wanted to clarify a bit in case any other dealers look at this post.

Thanks!!!

Don

Thanks to all for the info

I was just curious about the cost of mail order chips

Poor Ole Don!

He has to walk a fine line between .......
helping us
and
business conflicts

I'm glad he does it anyway ...
so
I can learn good stuff

If I was in the market for a mo chip
and
I knew I had the knowledge of Don behind it

Two Sixty Nine don't seem all that much
for
All that know how ... and ... experience :Word:
