When i put 4.10s in am i going to need a tune to fix the part throttle shifts and torque converter lock-up? I already have the predator so can i just get a mail order tune from someone to fix the stuff i cant do. Who would you guys recomend?

DBMSTNG said:yes, all your shift points will need to be adjusted. get it tuned. can't you change the tune for the gears yourself in the Predator?

I have a custom tune to tweak the part throttle shift points to perfection. It feels and sounds more like a 5-speed than an almost constant hum as your drive. I asked him how will calibrating the speedo for gears affect the shift points. I'll let you know more when I get his reply. Remind me, in case I forget.

Ok. I heard back from the man. When you change the gear ratio in the Predator and flash the tune into your car, it adjusts the part throttle shift tables accordingly. You will not have to dork with them due to the 4.10s.Mustangl3 said:When i put 4.10s in am i going to need a tune to fix the part throttle shifts and torque converter lock-up?
