can i use my sct xcal2 tuner to change my friends gear ration my car is a 01 gt and its not the sf tuner, his car is a 07 mustang v6

You can only use your xcal2 to read check engine codes on your friends car.

PLEASE don't attemt to use the X-cal on his car. It is locked to your vehicle only. The processor codes for your car and his are totally different. It will not work.

He can't load any tunes onto the other stang, but he can look at CEL codes....
