What's the best tuner for an '06 GT? The only mod I have at present is a K&N Aircharger. Can you quiclky go back to stock if you have to take it in to the dealer? Can a hand held tuner give as good a result as a dyno tune? I am thinking of pulleys in the future.
when dyno tuning, they actually use a SCT Xcal2 and the dyno tuner software to make the tune. the Xcal2 allows you to adjust certain parameters like fuel and spark on your own. if you get a canned tune, it will be ok. just like anything, a dyno tune is the BEST. it measures your air/fuel and will give you the best information on how to tune YOUR car. all cars are different a custom dyno tune is the best, but if you dont have the $$ now, get a canned tune. the Xcal2 also lets auto owners adhust shift firmness. mostly the "best" tuner is a personal opinion. people with the diablosport predator swear by it, and the same with SCT Xcal2 owners.
