Tuning with KB

I have some of the usual bolt ons and would like to tune my car now for a little extra power, but I plan on getting new wheels sometime and a KB sc. If I wanted to change my tire size after installing the KB, would I have to get KB to retune or get someone who specializes in tuning KB to reflash my program. What kind of system does KB use for their tuning. Do they use something like superchips, where I could buy the flasher and do it myself?

If you need to get it retuned then you can go to DTP in Suffolk VA. They did my tune and did an awsome job. What size wheels you goin with? as long as you have about the same overall size then you don't need to worry about it.

KB uses SCT chips...so just deal with a tuner who's SCT trained.

A change in tire size would be a no-brainer...the tuner would plug the lap top in...a couple of key-strokes and you're done.

If they use SCT, than could I go ahead and get the SCT flasher and use it until I get my KB, which will probably be a year from now, and when I get my KB, just get them to email the program and I can flash it in.

I plan on going with 18x9's, not sure if I want fr500's or cobra R's, both would be chrome, going on a black car. But I want to put some good street tires for the summer months and than put my orginal bullit wheels back on for the winter months with winter tires, so I will switching back and forth which will only be twice a year, but it would save a trip to a tuner.
