Ok now that I have a 5.4 and know what bottom end i want, what if i turbo'd it? Can it be done? I was thinking I could buy a turbo then custom fab it into the engine compartment and the motor. Good Idea or Not????

if you keep boost low enough and use intercooling, remap spark for max boost conditions. kinda generic, lower C/R. custom headers/log style tubular headers.
one header feeds from behind the oil pan to the back of the other header then into the turbo. very expensive and time consuming, but i would do it if you can have the car off the road for say 6 months. tech issues will present themselves along the way. putting out fires is the road you will follow grasshopper. i know from personal experience. my project has been oof the road for a month, and i just swapped them. of course the fabs are professional quality. be prepared to fab something then cut it apart to try again. i am going to make another set of headers like the ones that are in there now. just with some improvements. medium length headers with one tuned length step to get more scavanging. have fun dude. the worst thing you can do is to accept "it can't be done".

you got to have the green to be mean.

sounds like a tricky job, but if you have the money go for it.
