I was just wondering, is it possible to have a car that has a super charger and turbo. Because both work on different sources. Turbo uses gases, and i dont know what a super charger uses, but my point is would it be possible. I am not about to go do this or anything, i just want to know.

supercharger is belt driven. i doubt it would work. i think it would just be better to use 2 turbos instead of turbo and supercharger.

Yes, I'm sure you could fabricate an SC and a turbo, but one would be completely useless. Both are the same exact thing, except one is driven by the crank and the other is driven by exhaust gases, but they do the same thing. SO having both just wouldn't make sense and cost you a heck of a lot of $$$

The reason i was asking was because a while ago someone posted about that truck that produces about 2000hp, it used a sc and a turbo. So i was wondering if it also worked for cars. It would be cool if someone acutally got them to work together. That would produce large amount of power.

There's probably a couple ways of doing it but, for the cost and power ranges it would produce, no one would really want to do it for a street driven car.

You could probably have a turbo going into a Kenne Bell for instance. Why anyone would want to do that, I don't know. Unless you're looking for an all out drag car with an obsurd hp/tq output

I have also heard of SC'rs blowing into a turbo which would pretty much get rid of any kind of turbo lag and would also help produce huge amounts of boost.
