for either set up you're going to need bigger injectors, a bigger fuel pump, an adjustable FPR, calibrated MAF and a tune. I would recommend 30# injectors, but you'll probably want more boost in the future so you could be prepared and save hassle by getting 42#ers. A 255lph fuel pump will also flow enough fuel for you and be able to support more boost in the future.

you'll want a 255 pump, 42# injectors, AFPR, dont screw with an FMU, and a tune. You'll also want an IC if you plan on running a decent amount of boost.

check the corral classifieds and the stangnet classifieds as well
id also recommend doing some research for what you really want before you buy anything.

theres a LOT of different S/Cs and turbos are a whole different animal.

Hellion has a decent kit. High 12s, I would say supercharger.

Eh, all 3 of them are hard on the driveline. Nitrous is just harder to control.

how is it hard to control?

and yes all of them are hard on the drive line but nothing is going to shock the driveline like a bit hit of nitrous from a dig.

Lots of tuning, I'm kinda scared to use the bottle on any of my cars.

all of them need tuning...

only reason people are scared of it is a lot of people dont under stand it very well and end up blowing up motors.

What kind of power are you wanting? If its just for fun street use with a lil track time, I'd suggets a twin turbo kit or a Kenne Bell supercharger. If its mostly/strictly track then you will definitely want a centrifugal supercharger, a twin turbo set up, or even single turbos are great for track use.

Ran the blower in '08, with all bolt ons and 16psi, it put down 495rwhp. Only change for '09 was the switch to turbo. With 11psi, it put down 525rwhp. The turbo is way more fun to drive for me, i'm hooked! Upping the boost(goodbye stock shortblock!?!?) and swapping to an auto here in a month or so...can't wait!!

Turbo from here on out for me!!!

ps.....Vortech V-2 SQ for sale,lol!!

High 12's... you could use a leaf blower and duct tape to do that with good traction. What it really boils down to if that is your goal is cost and what you like. Do you have a price range? Are you wanting the whine or a swoosh sound or do you want silence? A lot of mods and fab or simple bolt on?

Me personally, I have had all 3 and NOS is my poison. It doesn't care what injectors or carb you have just as long as you have the fuel and timing control (abbreviated version =) ).

if you have to ask you probably shouldnt do either, 300rwp and suspension is good for 12's get a good set of AFR 185's a decent intake and a good set of control arms and shocks out back and you'll be good to go, that way by the time you actually know a bit more you have a stout motor you can toss boost at and make far more power

I agree with Shaolin 100%, if high 12's will make you happy, head/cam/intake, gears, sticky tires, done

If your going to be adding the supercharger or the turbo yourself, I would def pick a supercharger, Must easier install. For starters you need a 255 in tank fuel pump, either 30 or 42lb injectors and a calibrated mass air meter. If your only looking for high 12's it shouldnt be a problem with boost, WARNING you will get bored with 6 lbs of boost!!! Boost is very addictive

Yes boost is very addictive...as is blower whine and BOV's

leaf blowers are actually proven to give you more torque. On average you gain 5lbs of torque, but you sacrifice 10hp

Hey I was just looking at your cardomain stuff. 10.66 in the 1/4 on a stock block and a 5 speed? Badass! If that isn't a testament to the turbo, I don't know what is!
