This has probably been asked a jillion times so sorry, but are those headers homemade and what coating did you use on the pipes? Looks too dark to be ceramic. Did the turbo and related components come off a particular car or was it peiced together off of ebay? Oh and btw, nice times!!!! That's one sweet car you have there and for what you claim a low budget I wouldn't be too dissappointed

What chassis mods do you have? I have the power to lay down but can't get the car to hook on the trans break. Did you change anything like leaf springs?

yes, homemade (not by me, i can't weld for ****).
it's a ceramic coating.
the turbo was from precision turbo.

maybe some day. dyno is only good for tuning. the only #'s that mean anything are track times.

stock front and rear springs, cheapo 12yr old summit adj shocks (front and rear), and southsides. i bought a set of double adj qa1 shocks ($$$$$$$ ) for the rears, but haven't put them on yet.

Do you launch on a transbreak? Or what rpm. I just put on my calvert racing monosprings and rancho 9000 shocks. Anyone else with this rear combo?

yes, i launched off of the transbrake - 3,000rpm. i don't have a 2-step, so i was at less than 1/2 throttle.

How much boost were you able to get at the line ? Two step should jump it up a bit once installed yeah ? What's the A/R on that thing...over 1.00 ?

i didn't check the boost guage, but it wasn't much without a 2-step. i can't add a 2-step to my old crane box. the a/r is .96

get some 28" tall tires. it looks like thats what ill need. i will be rubbing a 88mm. this thread is some very good motovation. CONGRATS !
