I have a turbo coupe t5 sitting in my garage.The tranny in my car has seen better days so I was thinking about putting in the turbo coupe tranny for now but I dont know the gear ratio of the tranny and if it going to hurt performance at all.Has anyone tried this.

I don't know the gear ratios, but I do believe that they used different input shafts on the turbo coupe t5.

First gear is something like 3.97, the input shaft requires a Ford Ranger Diesel pilot bearing from Auto Zone, part #14672. and the torque rating is lower.

i have an SVO/supercoupe T-5 in my 5.0 right now. no problems with it. of course i have a near stock engine and 3.73's with it and my car takes off like crazy!
