turbo in a 92 mustang w/auto

If you have an '88 Turbo Coupe donor car, you're golden. But, you'll have to explain to me what an '88 Thunderbird Turbo kit' is! Swapping an '88 TC motor, tranny and rearend into your Mustang is a relatively easy task. Bear in mind you can't just throw a turbo on your naturally aspirated Mustang motor and expect it to last more than a week! You need to use the turbo motor or rebuild yours and add forged/dished pistons, appropriate turbo head, etc. In addition, you don't want to use the Mustang automatic tranny behind a turbo motor as it'll last about as long as a naturally aspirated motor with a turbo thrown on it!
