turbo or supercharger?

Anyone have any ideas on this one. I'm planning to use forced induction on my 93 gt. I'll use the stock motor untill a later date (read...more $). I'm looking at HP's stage I turbo or Prochargers kit. Let me know if youve heard anything. Also, I'm thinking of trick flows engine package. I dont know if the turbo manifold will bolt up to the tws heads. Any info will help.

If you've got the Twisted Wedge heads, they'll bolt up just fine. The exhaust ports are in the stock location.

If I ever had the choice for the same price, i'd go with a turbo kit. When setup correctly can be just as reliable as a supercharger. I suggest you do some searching, and look at people's setups though to make your own decision. You can have a turbo kit to make 400+rwhp on low boost levels, then when you upgrade your block, you can turn up the boost, bam 700+rwhp.

It's up to you though, superchargers make power too, price is usually the determining factor for which upgrade you should make.

I think that's going to be the turning point. I havent decided if i will go with a 331 or 347 in the future. with the turbo kit, i'll just up the boost and end up with what I want. The price HP wants isnt really high if you figure what a procharger kit and a good set of equal length headers cost. Besides, having a turbocharged v8 just sound cool.

Nice video and I appreciate the info. I'll probably go new with whatever I buy. I've had bad experience with buying used in the past. Always seem to end up with others problems. thanks though
