Turbo sizing...

I'm looking to turbo my 94 GT. I'm debating whether to go with two smaller turbo's, or just one larger one. If i got the larger one, i'd probably keep it a bit on the small side, as i want to have some low end kick. Also, would it be worth while to just slide in a 331 stroker while i have the block? How will it effect the turbo setup?

do you have a 331 or you just got a block, i'd go with 2 if you got the money because it would be easier instead of having a y pipe and all that unless you buy a kit. plus on a TT setup you can keep your dual exhaust.

Yeah, i was just looking around on turbomustangs.com, but then i'dhave to remember a whole nother sn and password, lol. I"d be building it myself, parts of it anyways. And i am pulling the block out of my car, i have to a couple frame mods quick (stupid girl that turned on red) and then i'm gonna make it a drag race and show car. But, i don't have tons and tons of money to do it with, which was why i'm looking for debates on 2 or one, and using stock block or stroker.

I'd say go 331 with a good single turbo. I'd say 60-1 being the smallest but I wouldn't go bigger than a t-67 because you can make more power than your block will hold anyways with the t-67. Spool up will be good depending on set up. You have a v8 so low end will be there with the right turbo cam. You can do dual exhaust on a single set up.

twin turbo = cold side is a bitch, hot parts are easier

single turbo = hot side is a bitch and cold side is easier

There are kits for both, there really ISN'T any benefit going to TT than a good single, unless you do it junk yard style then TT would probably be better as there are tons of the right size turbos you need that are cost effective.

Just use your same s/n and password for turbomustangs.com . You will not find a better turbo mustang site than that.

There is not enough time to get into what a/r you need for hot/cold side of the turbos, but you will come to know from searching.

the only way to have duals is to Y the pipe to 2 pipes, that is not true duals and i am talking true duals, no sissy y pipe

I know this, but what's so sissy about a Y pipe that helps push out over 450rwhp?

rather have 2 but i would also want a turbo, oh i do, just not installed. i need parts like carb hat and such.
