Okay I am doing the same swap pretty much. Now the engine mounts are different. You will need to pull the mounts from the stang and put them on the new block. Problem solved. Another option I was told but have not looked into is using not sure what year but early 80's V8 stang mounts so you can use the after market 5.0 mounts to replace ****ty stock ones. As for the oil pan I am using the ribbed 2.3 pan that is aluminum and found that you must use the feeder tube and a differnt style oil pump. Not sure if this helps much.
