Hey guys, thanks for your help with my turbo swap questions so far, but I got a couple new ones.

I am putting my mustang wiring harness on the TC motor and there is one sensor that I don't know where it goes. It maybe an extra, I don't know. It is attached to the fuel injector harness. Its the one with the blue tape in the pic.

Also, what do I do about the little plug in the oil pan on the driver's side. My mustang oil pan does not have this plug so where do I wire this in at?

The one in the pan is a low level light sensor. I don't think you can wire that anywhere. I left mine alone and cut the wire. The other I can't quite place yet.

a chiltons wiring schematic will clear that up. What color are the wires? Looks to me like EGR , since its comming off the main injector harness. If im correct in my thinking, that is the plug you cut off to wire in your vam. to be sure, check the wire colors!

You know what, I bet that is the harness for the EGR. I forgot all about that. I will confirm when I get home later today. And on 93's you just use the MAF wiring for the VAM. Thanks Mr. Wood and Cro

That is the harness for the EGR, I just plugged in the Mustang EGR to check. Cool

Is that normal for the TC not to have a sensor for the EGR?

BTW the wires were black/green, brown/white, and white/red.

Seems so obvious now that I look at it!!
Thanks

Was going to say that is the plug for the EGR!!! But you got it already.
The EGR is your sensor when you plug that back up. Unless you plan on deleting the EGR then you don't need that plug.

What I mean is that there is no sensor or plug or anything on the egr valve on the turbocoupe motor. Just the pipe from exhaust and a vacuum line. I just thought that was kind of weird. But I don't think their is a sensor on the canister purge either unlike my 93 mustang.
